What stays on your device
Your PDFs, reading positions, highlights, figure captures, preferences, and discussions are saved in your browser or desktop app. Legunt does not offer cloud sync today.
What leaves your device when you ask AI
When you ask a question, Legunt sends the question, the selected passage or figure, messages from that discussion, and any images you attached to the AI provider. Do not send sensitive material or anything you do not have permission to share.
How to remove local data
You can remove a reading and its discussions from inside Legunt. Clearing the site or app storage removes all locally saved data. Uninstalling the desktop app may leave its saved data behind.
